One of the great things about being a wedding photographer is that often we have the opportunity to bear witness to the creation and growth of families. For example, a few years ago we were honored to be asked to cover the wedding of our friends Jennifer and Greg. It was a lovely, simple ceremony filled with affection.

Since then we’ve seen their family expand to include their daughter Mallory, the first-born, and now their son Gage, whose baptism Jennifer and Greg asked that I cover.

This is the lovely mother, Jennifer.

I finally got a half-smile from Mallory. I think I’m growing on her.
