Our little man is growing unbelievably quickly. One day we blinked and our little baby blob suddenly turned into this toddler sized human. Here are the latest images in the life of Roman.... This was his first time in a stroller without his infant carrier. *sigh* His first drive... His way overdue first visit to the beach After catching up with our buddies, Ed and Karen of atrero.com. We're trying to set up an arranged marriage with their cute patootie daughter Amelie. At Torrey Pines with my fellow grad school sufferer Cat, and her sister Carolina, with our brood. Carolina is working a nifty dissertation for her PhD in theatre dance, studying the origins of vaudeville in the Philippines. and finally, two of Roman's favorite past times, drooling, and putting any and everything into his mouth.

It’s hard to believe, but the little guy just finished his first month in the world. He started out at 7 pounds, 11 ounces; about a week and a half ago he was at 9 pounds, 4 ounces; so we think he must be around 10 pounds right now. He’s getting so big, so fast. We’re trying to enjoy him as much as we can now, ’cause he’ll never be this small again!

Meet Roman

Roman came to us on August 18, 2008 at 12:35 PM. Even though he was three weeks early, he weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces at birth. He looks like he has Kirin’s face, my eyes, and both of our lips. It seems his favorite hobby is eating, sleeping, and pooping and peeing on dad. He’s so beautiful–Kirin and I can’t stop staring at him. I love this boy.

It is almost down to the wire, and our lensbaby will soon be here. Who else would I entrust to take my maternity photos than my own talented hubby, who knows how to make me look good even when I feel like a cow. We just wanted to share a couple of our favorites with you good folks.

Marky’s Third Birthday

My sister decided, for her son’s third birthday, that they would take him to a Disneyland/California Adventures weekend. They stayed up there for three days and tried to catch as much of both parks as they could. Well, it turns out that Marky liked the hotel room much more that the parks, but they did manage to see and enjoy some of Mickey’s place nevertheless. (You might remember a family portrait session we did of my sister’s family last year.)

Kirin, myself and my parents drove up there on the Saturday and toured California Adventures with Marky et al. Here are some photos of our adventure…
